In Philippians 4:8, God clearly gives us His standard of what we should think about.Р’В This is your key to walking in victory. The things you think about also affect how you feel. Your thoughts determine how you react to situations and how you carry yourself in the world. They are the starting point of what eventually manifests in your life. You will have to be mindful of your thoughts, your words, and the actions you take РІР‚вЂњ these are the fundamental steps to walk by faith in God.Р’В HereРІР‚в„ўs why: 1. Along this voyage, you will have to do more than just believe. Walking by faith means that you are embarking upon a journey. The mere phrase denotes the activity of movement. WeРІР‚в„ўre reminded in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that we walk by faith and not by sight.Р’В But wait, what exactly does walking by faith look like? While we all know that God is eternal and doesnРІР‚в„ўt operate by our constraints of time, we can rest assured that He moves and acts on our behalf when we stand in faith on his Word. IРІР‚в„ўm talking about a direct word from the Lord that will help you in your situation right now. Amen.How many times have you needed an answer from God as you try to walk by faith? Bring to mind now someone in my life who needs a word from You. I want to get Your Word out to as many people as I can. Thank You, too, for tools like cards, the computer, and texting I have available to encourage someone else. Thank You for all the times YouРІР‚в„ўve encouraged me through a card from a friend. Make me aware daily of a friend, family member, or coworker who needs a word from You. Lord, help me to use Your words to encourage the people in my life today.

Whatever way works best, we can all manage to think of a way to write, tell, send, or pass on at least one word of encouragement from the Lord! You could purchase pretty cards and write encouraging notes to people who need them or send a Scripture verse to a friend via email. So it may be РІР‚СљHis words in my mouth,РІР‚Сњ or РІР‚СљHis words in my letter or on a pretty card,РІР‚Сњ or РІР‚СљHis words on my computer.РІР‚Сњ One way or another, with God helping me, I am determined to get His Word out to as many people as I can. There are dozens of ways you can get the word out. Knowing how they helped me, I started to buy Christian books and send them to fellow students I wanted to influence for the Lord. I canРІР‚в„ўt tell you how much books meant to me as a young Christian. We can buy someone elseРІР‚в„ўs words and give them to people, too. ItРІР‚в„ўs a great way to get GodРІР‚в„ўs Word on your paper and then into peopleРІР‚в„ўs hands and hearts. This is something you may think about-a ministry of letter writing.

My ministry of letter writing burgeoned until I was spending most of my spare time writing to encourage the new converts. I could also keep a copy and remember what IРІР‚в„ўd said. And if it wasnРІР‚в„ўt, I could do it again and get it right.

If I wrote a letter, I could read it over and see if it was really what I wanted to say. I became a scribe for God! I discovered that the written word could be even more effective than the spoken word. Concerned about keeping the new believers believing, I began to write to them. At the end of the term, I returned home for break. When I came to Christ in college, I began to lead people to the Lord. РІР‚СљT herefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.РІР‚Сњ ~Р’В 1 Thessalonians 5:11
